MANAGEMENT CONTRACTING

This is a “fast track” method of procurement delivered in two stages which will seamlessly overlap as the process is carried out:

Stage 1: STEELE – PERKINS will obtain tenders for each work package required to complete the project

Stage 2: STEELE – PERKINS enters into a ‘works contract’ with each individual works contractor to carry out and complete their work package as tendered.

A traditional method of procurement classes this as ‘sub-contracting’ the difference with ‘management contracting’ is that we will enter into a ‘Management Contract’ with our Client. The project is then managed by STEELE – PERKINS for a fee that is charged on top of the ‘prime cost’ of the works.
