Where Projects Begin

Residential projects start with a clear brief and the right professional team in place.


A key part of my role is introducing trusted consultants from my network and assembling a team suited to the project's scale and complexity. This early coordination helps establish a strong foundation for design development, programme planning and financial management.


With the right team and a clearly defined brief, the project can move into the design phase with clarity and direction.

Design Development and Cost Planning

Cost planning is considered an integral part of the design process from the outset. A project budget and delivery strategy are established early on and refined as the design develops.


My clients remain closely involved throughout. Materials, specifications and procurement strategy all play a part in shaping both cost and programme. As these elements become more defined, the cost plan is carefully developed to ensure alignment between design ambition and financial parameters.


This approach provides clarity and reassurance as the design evolves.

Managing the Professional Team

Successful projects depend on the coordinated input of architects, engineers and specialist consultants.
My role is to create those connections and guide that process. This ensures that information is well coordinated, decisions are made at the right time, and progress remains aligned with the programme and budget.

Consistent communication among consultants enables the design phase to progress smoothly and prepares the project for construction.

I stay closely involved with my clients throughout the whole process, ensuring their interests are looked after at every stage.

Construction Delivery and Financial Management

The construction phase is focused on bringing the project to life.


I manage the building contract, coordinate the contractor and specialist suppliers, and maintain oversight of programme, risk and project finances. Regular reporting keeps my clients informed, while any issues are addressed promptly and decisions are handled with clarity.


Work is reviewed and signed off in line with warranty requirements, building control, health and safety obligations and any relevant licensing requirements.

Project Completion and Handover

The completion stage brings the project to a clear and well-documented conclusion. At this point, I coordinate the final steps to ensure that financial matters, compliance requirements, and project documentation are fully resolved and ready for handover.
The final account is carefully reviewed and agreed upon, alongside the coordination of certification and regulatory documentation, including building control approval, warranty requirements, and relevant statutory certificates.


The project concludes with an organised handover. Operations and maintenance information is gathered from the team, providing clear guidance on the ongoing management of building systems, equipment and integrated smart home technologies.


This stage ensures the project is financially settled, compliant and properly documented—allowing clients to move into their completed home with confidence.
